Marathon 1: Over
Thanks to everyone who came.
Marathon one has been classed a success, but definitely going to make sure the next one is a little smaller. 8 movies, 19 and a half hours, may be a little long, but it was fun nun the less.

Marathon 1: Harry Potter
When?: Saturday January 21st
Yeah, thats right, no easing into this stuff, its bang, right into 8 movies, one after the other.
Below is an approximate timeline of how things are going to run. Feel free to pop in and out as you need
So, here goes:
06:30 - The Philosopher’s Stone
09:00 - The Chamber of Secrets
11:40 - The Prisoner of Azkaban
14:00 - The Goblet of Fire
16:40 - The Order of the Pheonix
19:00 - The Half-Blood Prince
21:30 - The Deathly Hallows Pt1
24:00 - The Deathly Hallows Pt2And yes, you did read that right, that is a 6:30am start. Current estimated completion is around 2:20am Sunday morning.
Thinking that we might do a pizza order or something around 7, so if you want to join us for dinner, make sure you bring some cash to chip in.
Also, feel free to bring snacks etc. We will have some here, but wont be catering the event. We are providing the entertainment after all!IMPORTANT INFO
We do live in a complex with a gate. So we are going to try and tape the gate so it wont lock, so please try the gate to see if it will open first. If the gate has somehow found a way to lock itself, send Noodlez a sms on 0407 240 653 or DM or something on twitter, and we will let you in.
Please dont use the buzzer thing at the gate. Its really loud and will disrupt the movie watching people.Dont know where we live? Then contact Somegen or myself, Noodlez via twitter and we shall give you the address!
Best parking is just across the road from us at Bunnings.

What’s this all about then?
So we have been talking about having some movie marathons for some time now, but you know how it is. Life happens, then Minecraft happens, and then someone says something about Star Trek and all previous thoughts are gone.
But then, we purchased a new TV. It is a magnificent beast. It might not be the biggest on the block, but it suits our lounge room just fine and puts out a picture that even my Croation upstairs neighbour could appreciate. If we let her in. But we wont.
And then we realised, we cant just keep this all to ourselves! As beautiful as it is playing Uncharted 3 in 3D. So we come full circle back to our original idea of a movie marathon.
And seeing as there are so many lovely things to watch on the screen, we have decided to hold a few, hopefully on a regular basis.
But we are not going into this half harted, these are going to be propper movie marathons so thus this tumblr was created.
We know your time is precious, so for each marathon, we will be attempting to put on here, an aproximate time frame of when things will be starting, when each different movie or TV episode will be starting and when lunch and dinner breaks will be, so you can come and go as you please, knowing you wont come in half way through something and interupt everyone. Cause you are nice like that. We love you.If you know where we live, you are welcome to join us. If you dont, well hit us up and we will give you the deets. More info about ‘us’ can be found in ‘The Chaps’ section if I havent been slack and forgotten.
